Arsenal expected to finalise Declan Rice’s new contract in due course

Arsenal are expected to finalise Declan Rice’s new contract in due course following initial talks, according to Hand of Arsenal.

The North London club have made a deal for the midfielder, one of their key focuses for the summer and are working hard to get it sorted.

The former West Ham United captain has two years left on his deal, and the Gunners will not want a saga to become of their £100 million star’s deal.

But that is very unlikely to be the case, as Arsenal believe a new deal will soon be agreed, as he is believed to be very happy at the Emirates Stadium.

Rice will be delighted to know that Arsenal are also set to tie Mikel Arteta down to a new contract, and the pair could achieve special things together again next term.

The final details of his deal are now being sorted, and the Dutch international will put pen to paper over a new contract.

Timber is missing the World Cup due to an injury he suffered back in March, but he will be eager to ensure he is fully fit for the start of next season.
